Established in 1967, The National Theatre of the Deaf (NTD) is the oldest, continually-producing touring theatre company in the United States. With national tours in 50 states, continental and international tours, it has led the way for modern deaf theatre.

Founded in 1991, Deaf West Theatre, Inc. (DWT) improves and enriches the cultural lives of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals who live in the Los Angeles area.
