NYDT Mission Statement

New York Deaf Theatre (NYDT) enhances deaf theatre by:

Providing productions of classics and new works by deaf artists
Encouraging new voices to be seen and heard
Promoting community outreach through the arts
Committing to developing theatre education and artistic talents of deaf, hard of hearing and hearing artists and writers who sign through partnerships, mentoring, and new programs.
